Bio

Jude studied at the San Francisco Art Institute where she received her BFA in photography in 1993. Currently she lives in Petaluma, California with her husband and daughter.

Jude has been shooting portraits and weddings in the Bay Area and beyond for almost a decade. Her wedding imagery has been featured in the SF Chronicle, Martha Stewart Weddings, Elegant Bride and The Knot magazine. Her fine art is exhibited regularly in various North Bay galleries. She is well known for her artistic photos and her calming personality.

Statement

I love shooting weddings and I consider it a great honor to participate in the ritual with couples and their loved ones. There is so much excitement in the preparation, beauty in the details, and overflowing emotions. My job is to have fun documenting the day unobtrusively while allowing others to feel at ease.

I use natural light whenever possible and I shoot real film.

My connection with couples often extends into yearly family portraits. It is a joy to be there from the beginning and watch the families grow!
